A of 黑料吃瓜网 research-related staff and postdocs showed that nearly two-thirds of respondents felt that Pitt鈥檚 research restart had gone at least as well as or better than they expected.

This is one of the results from an August survey aimed at monitoring progress on Pitt鈥檚 research restart initiative from the perspective of those affected by the policies.

The careful and phased process of restarting research after limiting on-campus operations due to COVID-19 last spring began early this summer. Senior Vice Chancellor for Research , Acting Senior Vice Chancellor for Business and Operations and Vice Chancellor of Human Resources and Vice Provost for Graduate Studies were interested in understanding the perspectives of research-related staff and postdocs throughout the course of the restart process.

鈥淲e felt it was important to hear directly from the staff and postdocs for their perspective on how research returned to on-site operations,鈥 said Rutenbar. 鈥淲e want to meet their needs as best we can, in consultation with the provost and the vice chancellor for human resources.鈥
