The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for blood and plasma donations more than ever. In an effort to support regional donations, the has worked with to schedule two staff and faculty blood drives at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum on Friday, Nov. 13, and Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested donors can . In addition to supporting critical blood donation needs, Vitalant is donating $5 to the to support food security in these challenging times for every blood donation made. Individual donations, as well as those from units or departments, can help save lives and feed the Pitt community. Faculty and staff who are already planning to be on campus the days of the blood drive are encouraged to participate if they feel comfortable doing so. Please remember to fill out the beforehand.
