Pitt undergrads will offer free tax assistance through April 12

Since 2002, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø undergraduates have helped ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø residents secure more than $1.5 million in refunds as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. 

±Ê¾±³Ù³Ù’s provides free tax assistance to individuals with incomes under $65,000 per year and includes assistance with returns and securing refunds owed from the IRS. In addition to 2023 tax returns, returns from tax years 2020 to 2022 can also be completed. 

This year’s efforts are led by the  within the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and the College of Business Administration’s chapter of , the honorary academic fraternity for accounting, finance or business information systems majors. As in previous years, this is all in partnership with the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Appointments are from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through April 12. Qualified taxpayers can sign up online through the Ìý´Ç°ùÌý or by calling 2-1-1.
